Collective Roots of Healing is a community event that brings people together for holistic wellbeing through activities like yoga, sound baths, and African dance with drumming. Our events are designed to be inclusive, accessible, and empowering for adults from all backgrounds.

We operate on a “pay what you can” basis. You can choose an amount that feels comfortable and sustainable for you.

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement.  We will have some yoga mats but bring your own if you have one, a water bottle, and anything else you need to feel comfortable and relaxed.

No prior experience is needed for any of the activities. Our instructors will guide you through everything, and all levels are welcome.

Please consult your healthcare provider before attending if you have any concerns. Inform the instructors about any health conditions or injuries before the event.

  • The centre is just a 3-minute walk from Haggerston Overground Station.

  • From Haggerston Station, exit and head south on Queensbridge Road, then turn right onto Lovelace Street. The venue will be on your left.

  • Nearby bus stops include Regents Court (4-minute walk) and Haggerston Park (6-minute walk) served by buses 149, 236, 243, 394, and 242.

  • Other nearby stations include Hoxton (6-minute walk) and Dalston Kingsland (14-minute walk) if you are coming from further away.

Yes, pregnant women are welcome to attend the event. The yoga and African dance sessions can be adapted to accommodate different comfort levels and physical needs. However, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before participating, especially for the dance and yoga classes. The sound bath is generally gentle and relaxing, but please listen to your body and take breaks as needed. If you have any specific concerns or require modifications, please let us know in advance so we can support you.
